Complete garden transformation in Bersham
Tree removal, a retaining wall, Kandla grey Indian stone paving and a new gate — a garden rebuilt from scratch.
The job
What we did in Bersham
This one started with clearance. An established tree had to come out along with everything growing around it, which changed the light in the garden completely and made the rest of the design possible.
With the ground clear, a retaining wall went in to deal with the level change, then the main area was paved in Kandla grey Indian stone. Working in that order matters — paving up to a wall that hasn't been built yet always ends in cut slabs and a poor edge.
A new gate finished the job, giving secure access without breaking the line of the boundary. The garden went from unusable to a single, level, connected space.
