Post and rail fencing for a horse ménage in Ffrith
Three-rail timber fencing and a five-bar gate around a new riding arena.
The job
What we did in Ffrith
A new ménage being put in at a property in Ffrith needed fencing around the full arena before the surface went down. Post and rail is the standard for this kind of job: it's open, it's strong, and a horse can see straight through it.
We set pressure-treated timber posts around the whole perimeter with three rails to each bay, and hung a timber five-bar gate on galvanised fittings for access.
The photos here were taken before the sand surface had settled. We'll add more once the arena is in use.
