Side access is usually the weak point in an otherwise secure garden — it is the gap the dog finds. Closing it off properly was the whole point of this job.

Zest San Remo Omega gates were fitted, a ready-made design with a curved top and a slatted upper section that lets light through rather than walling the passage in.

They were hung on posts set in concrete and squared to the opening, so they close and latch reliably. A gate that only latches when you lift it is no use for containing a dog.
