Storm-damaged fence replacement in Brymbo
A storm-damaged run replaced with a boundary built to take the next one.
The job
What we did in Brymbo
Storm damage is rarely bad luck on its own. A fence that comes down in high wind was usually already weak at the posts, and the storm just found it first.
The damaged run was replaced with a boundary built for exposure: posts set properly in concrete, gravel boards taking the ground contact, and the timber above kept clear of wet soil.
It was matched to the existing boundary so the repair doesn't stand out, while being considerably more robust than what it replaced.
