The job
What we did in Borras
Two problems, one visit. Ground was sitting damp against the property, and the garden wasn't secure enough to let the dog out unsupervised.
Sleepers and a gravel run took care of the damp by holding the ground back and giving surface water a free-draining route away from the wall instead of against it. It is a simple fix and it works, provided the levels are set properly.
A picket fence was then built to make the garden secure. Picket suits a front or side boundary where you want containment without blocking light or making the space feel closed in.
